Fall gospel fest at Bald Knob Cross of Peace | Arts & Culture

UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - WXAN Radio and the Bald Knob Cross of Peace have teamed up to present "The Light of the Cross Gospel Fest" on Saturday, October 13 from noon to 5:30pm at the Bald Knob Cross of Peace in Alto Pass, Ill.

The event has free admission and will feature music from groups including: The Glorylanders from Pittsburg, Ill., the Nehkorns from Marion, Ill., the Glad Heart Quartet from Benton, Ill. and Final Journey Quartet from Anna, Ill.

Also appearing will be the original Elle May Clampett from the Beverly Hillbillies, Donna Douglas. She will be appearing to give her Christian Testimony and promote her Christian Children's books. Douglas will also be available to pose for pictures and sign autographs. A flyer for the event is available at: www.baldknobcross.com

Bring your lawn chair, your family and friends out to enjoy some great music and the magnificent panoramic Fall colors as they begin to change from one of the highest and most scenic points in Illinois. There will be a large tent set up and 17th Street BBQ will also be on site with food available.
