UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - If you have a desire to help girls to explore their own strengths, develop new skills, and you have a sense of humor-then you already have the skills and qualities needed to be a successful leader serving the Union, Pulaski, or Alexander Counties or surrounding Southern Illinois area.
The Girl Scout program said they need leaders especially for girls that are entering Kindergarten for 2013-14, but leadership is also needed for other grade levels K-12.
A Girl Scout Block Party will be held in the Lower Gym at Anna-Jonesboro High School on Tuesday, August 27. You may come anytime between 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to register for Girl Scouts.
Weekly meetings for Girl Scout Troops are not required. Choose a schedule that works for you. Girl Scout Troops may meet after school, evenings, weekends-whether it is once a month or once a week. The decision is totally up to the volunteer leaders of the troop.
