Alto Pass man sentenced to 15 years on meth charges | Crime
ALTO PASS, IL (KFVS) - Union County State's Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced Wednesday, December 12 that 36-year-old Billy J. Finney, formerly from Alto Pass, was sentenced to 15 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections on one count of possession of meth.
Finney was arrested in April 2012 at a 3200 Bald Knob home after a search warrant was executed. Police say they found more than 900 grams of meth at the home.
The case was investigated by the Union County Sheriff's Office, Murphysboro Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff's Office. The Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team also assisted with the investigation.
