Fire damages home in Dongola | News
UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Three fire crews responded to a house fire in Dongola Monday morning.
According to the Union County Sheriff's Department, the fire started at around 2:45 a.m. on East Cross Street. Someone called authorities from inside the home, but officials say everyone was able to exit the home safely.
A person at the home called to report the fire, but everyone made it out of the house safely.
There's no word yet on what caused the fire, or how many people were home when it started.
Three fire departments were called to assist with the fire.
No word on how severely the home was damaged.
