Railroad crossing closure on IL 146 in Ware rescheduled | News

WARE, IL (KFVS) - The Illinois Department of Transportation announced Monday, September 17 that a road closure previously scheduled for Monday at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing on IL 146 at Ware has be rescheduled.
According to IDOT, the road will now be closed Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 18 and 19. Union Pacific will make repairs to this crossing at Ware near the intersection of IL 3 starting at 7 a.m. on the Sept. 18.
IDOT said the repairs are expected to take three days and the road will be open at night.
Drivers should follow marked detour routes. No traffic will be permitted through the construction area from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the duration of the repair.
