Man rescued after crash | News
Emergency crews in Union County, Illinois had to call in extra help to rescue a man who's car was lodged between two trees.
It happened late Monday night near Lick Creek and Texas Eastern roads.
According to the Union County sheriff's department, the man drove off the road and his vehicle got stuck between the trees.
Deputies called in rescue teams and a tow truck to get both man and vehicle out.
It is not clear as to why the wreck occurred in the first place.
We're told the victim has a broken arm and leg but he is expected to be OK.
