Scott City woman facing charges after police pursuit, crashes | News
MARION, IL (KFVS)- Illinois State Police say a Scott City woman is facing DUI and other charges after a pursuit from Missouri to Illinois that ended in two crashes.
Troopers say Sherry Jane Nolan, 47, of Scott City, fled police near Sikeston before a traffic stop was made.
Nolan drove on I-57 into Illinois. Missouri, Pulaski and Union County sheriff's offices stopped their pursuit on I-57 around the 46 mile marker.
Nolan crashed her car into another vehicle's bumper around the 50.5 mile marker, but kept going. Police say Nolan's car rear ended another vehicle around the 51.5 mile marker and spun into the center median.
Nolan was taken by EMS to a Marion hospital with minor injuries. The other drivers were not injured.
Nolan was charged with aggravated DUI and possession of cannabis. Other charges are pending from ISP, Union and Pulaski Counties and from Missouri.
