Missing woman with disability found

UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Union County Sheriff's Office says they found Mary E. Grinelly Thursday morning in Cairo.

They were looking for Grinelly, 49, after she was last seen April 29, 2012 at about 10 a.m. in the Anna area.

American Red Cross asks you to share your favorite memory

(KFVS) - In honor of March being Red Cross Month, the American Red Cross is asking you to share your favorite Red Cross memory.

All month long, they will be looking for special, personal stories of hope. You can tell them what it was like to volunteer or why it's meaningful to you to give when disaster strikes.

The Red Cross says whether you’ve donated in the aftermath of a disaster, given blood, taken a class or received help in an emergency, everyone’s got a story to share – one that could inspire others to make a difference, too.

Online registration open for Teen Conference

(KFVS) - Online registration is open for the Southern Illinois Women's Teen Conference at John A. Logan College.

The conference will be Saturday, Feb. 25 and is for young women in grades 7-12. It is planned to provide young women a day to learn about the issues that affect their lives and have fun in the process.
